TODAY'S RACE CARDS AT HAYDOCK

A competitive 7-race card unfolded at Haydock, with Good conditions providing a genuine test for all 81 runners. Matty's Getaway landed the spoils at 9.00, and the 41.00 shot Moon Chime came home in front. The card produced an early surprise when Moon Chime defied the market at 41.00, a result that caught the ring very much off guard.

As the day progressed, the action remained at a high level. St Gabriel asserted at 7.50, while the 9.00 shot Salkadan led home.

To round off a compelling day's racing, Mohaaraj held on gamely at 5.00; the 3.33 shot Lake Forest drew clear; and Ata Rangi (8.00) ran on strongly. It proved an eventful afternoon at the Lancashire venue, with at least one big-price winner ensuring the day will live long in the memory.
